I don’t think you’re blowing things out of proportion, that is an issue and needs to be addressed. I don’t know anything about him besides what you’ve said, but if he brings up your skin color to the point where its bothersome, he may be fetishizing you. You may like him a lot, but do you want to be in a relationship with someone who only likes you because they think you’re something new and different to try? You’re not a toy or an experiment, and trust me once the excitement of being with a black girl is over, there will be no reason for him to stay with you. Drop him and find someone who likes the person inside, you’ll be much happier.

You can try making another account on BWAMU, and actually become active this time. Join the women for rice chatroom on Tinychat. Or look for a couple of AMBW groups on Facebook. If there is a meetup group in your area, then I’d join that as well.

HR AMBW Friends Connect is for Single Black women, Single Asian men and AMBW Couples who would like to meet up and have some fun in a comfortable, encouraging environment.
